Beautiful Redang Island (Pulau Redang) is the largest of nine islands, and an important conservation site for sea turtles. Soft, white, powdery sand grace its shores, while an amazing diversity of marine life await underwater.
Two historic shipwrecks (HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse) were sunk around the waters of Redang Island at the start of World War II.
